Canapaya Residences

The construction works of Canapaya River Front Residences is progressing very impressively as the 57 residential floors on top of 6 parking floors (to total 63 floors high), is now at the 32 floors level.

The use of advanced formwork system proves it self both in construction quality and construction pace. TMDC is now constructing at a pace of 4 floors per month.

As of today, the structure of Canapaya Riverfront Residences on Rama 3 Road can easily be seen on Bangkok skyline.

In parallel, TMDC started architecture works on parking floors, brick walls and plastering.

Canapaya Residences

TMDC has completed already in January 2016, the first 6 floors of Canapaya Residences which occupies the main lobby on ground floor and 5 more upper parking floors. The total construction area of these 6 floors is 6,650 Sqm. These were 6 untypical, large size and heavy structure floors. The seventh floor is actually loads transfer floor: this floor is comprised of 2X2 meter beams which suppose to transfer the 57 stories high tower loads the the ground floor foundations.

TMDC is now constructing the typical floors at a pace of 4 floors per month. Each typical floor is about 800 Sqm. TMDC is currently on floor number 15. In parallel, TMDC started architecture works on parking floors, brick walls and plastering.

Canapaya Residences

TMDC was awarded the construction works of Canapaya Riverfront Residences on July 24th, 2015. TMDC has started mobilisation and installation works of PERI formwork (made in Germany and imported to Thailand especially for this project) and two tower cranes, placing boom and 2 double cabinet passengers hoist.

Actual construction started on September 9th 2015. First 6 floors are Canapaya Residences main lobby on ground floor and 5 more upper parking floors. The total construction area of these 6 floors is 6,650 Sqm. The construction works of these none typical floors is slowly than the expected construction pace of the upper floors. The construction works of these 6 floors completed in January 2016, within 5 months. That’s about one month ahead of schedule.

The seventh floor is actually loads transfer floor: this floor is comprised of 2X2 meter beams which suppose to transfer the 57 stories high tower loads the the ground floor foundations.

As can be seen in the pictures, this floor is on very progress stage and expected to be completed within one month, after which TMDC will start constructing the typical floors at a pace of 4 floors per month. Each typical floor is about 800 Sqm..
